WHAT IS "CARS IN CONTEXT?"

 

Professional automotive journalism used to be an expert, mostly print-media discipline that was directly inter-related with the OEM auto industry and its aftermarket. But because of today's ever-growing number of car-centric Internet Web sites, personal blogs and chat-room forums, just about anybody armed with merely a computer and an opinion can instantly become a self-proclaimed "auto writer."  

 

In truth, the nearly inexhaustible mass of car-related material jamming the "information superhighway" has very little value unless one can separate fact from fluff, and has enough seasoned perspective to know what the information means, as well as have the real-world experience to put it all into context. So that's exactly why native Detroiter John M. Clor founded a home-based freelance business in 2001 called "Cars In Context."
